You may have received an error message that states:

It appears that you are attempting to delete a significant portion of your synced items, exceeding half of them. You can bypasss this Auto-Stop measure on your sync settings, or you can reach out to our support team for assistance.

Or, you may be wondering what this safeguard option means in your automation settings.

This is a safety feature designed to prevent the accidental deletion of a large number of your synced items.

It occurs when we detect that the whole dataset is being re-inserted again or if more than half of the dataset is about to be deleted. It's a very conservative method to avoid having an issue with duplicates as well.

When does it activate?

This safeguard triggers when:

  • The sync settings are not configured correctly.
  • There is an unexpected issue with the data being processed.
  • You are about to delete a large number of items for any other reason, willingly or unwillingly.

To address this, please check your Sync Settings to ensure that they are correct. Specifically, verify if the Allow event deletion option is toggled on or off as you wish. If you do not intend to delete a significant portion of your items, it's important to disable it.

What to do to ignore the safeguard
